We're Going to Lose it!

Do you like saving money? Do you like having the option to recycle? If you said yes to any of these questions, please help us get the word out about our recycling trailer. We received the following email yesterday, and quite frankly, it is rather embarrassing. This is our fourth and final warning.

Hello Stacy

I hope life is going well & you are finding ways to stay cool in all the heat we have been having.

So, I am obviously emailing regarding the recycling trailer. First, I want to say how sorry I am that this has been such a bother and pain, we know how much you have done to try to get people to follow the rules. There are times that the trailer is better & it appears your efforts are making a difference. But, there are other times when we wonder what happened since the trailer is so bad.

We have to come up with a solution in the next couple of weeks because the amount of garbage, filth & glass in the trailer is costing us a lot of money and time. The trailer at Sun Cove takes us at least two to three times as long as our other trailers. Even trailers that we have to empty 2 times a week because they are so busy aren’t as dirty with unrecyclables. This time we had full bottles of beer, we don’t take glass and so much household garbage. Last time there were bags and bags of personal garbage, dog poop in bags & dirty diapers (so many dirty diapers).

If things don’t improve drastically we are going to have to remove the trailer. This is something I have been fighting against doing but we can’t continue spending the amount time we have to on the trailer. The signs aren’t really making a difference unfortunately.

I would welcome any suggestions that could prevent us from removing the trailer for good. I know you have tried a few thing but they haven’t made a big enough impact so we have to find another solution, any suggestion are welcomed.

We will lose our recycle trailer if we do not start recycling correctly. Please help us spread the word about the importance of following the Recycling Trailer's Guidelines. Tell your neighbors, guests, kids, or renters what can be recycled and that they have to be separated into the appropriate slots. NO MORE GARBAGE OR GLASS in the recycle trailer!!!!
